Things To Do

The Cape is one of our most favorite places - that's why we're getting married here! Culley and her family have vacationed every summer in Wellfleet for her entire life. Eric was quickly invited along on family vacation and has learned to love the ocean ALMOST as much as he loves a lake (although he can't waterski on the Atlantic). Check out some of our favorite places all along the coast! Our list starts with recs in Wellfleet and then extends to other Cape faves.
Beachcomber in Wellfleet

Beachcomber in Wellfleet

1120 Cahoon Hollow Road, Wellfleet, MA 02667
, (508) 349-6055

The Goombay Smash is one of our favorite drinks here, along with their decadent mudslides! Pair your drinks with some fresh Wellfleet oysters!

Mac's On the Pier

Mac's On the Pier

265 Commercial Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667
, (508) 349-9611

For casual vibes, check out Mac's on the Pier for seafood staples and great views. It's right down the street from our wedding venue! The sister restaurant Mac's Shack is located on Commercial Street - slightly trendier, including a sushi bar.

SICKDAY

SICKDAY

3 West Main Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667
, (508) 214-4158

Feeling adventurous? Rent boogie boards, paddle boards or surfboards from Sickday! They offer surf lessons for anyone who wants to give it a try. Paddle boards are great to take out on the bay side where things are little less wavy.

Hatch's Fish Market

Hatch's Fish Market

310 Main Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667
, (508) 349-2810

If you're renting a house and plan to make a meal yourself, this is a great spot to pick up fresh fish and fixin's.

Cape Cod Rail Trail

Cape Cod Rail Trail

Cape Cod Rail Trail, Wellfleet, MA

The old Cape Rail Line has been converted into a bike and pedestrian path. Consider renting bikes at the trailhead in Wellfleet and take a leisurely ride down to Arnold's in Eastham for lunch!

Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar

Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar

3580 U.S. 6, Eastham, MA 02642
, (508) 255-2575

Our favorite lobster roll on the Cape! You can't go wrong with the hot roll with warm butter or the classic cold choice. Make sure you get a side of onion rings! (CASH ONLY - they do have an ATM)

Savory & the Sweet Escape

Savory & the Sweet Escape

316 U.S. 6, Truro, MA 02666
, (508) 487-2225

Amazingly unique flavors named for favorite beaches on the Cape. Savory is the pizza shop, The Sweet Escape is the ice cream side. We recommend "Wicked Mud Flats" and "Ryder Beach Rubble."

Truro Vineyards

Truro Vineyards

11 Shore Road, Truro, MA 02652
, (508) 487-6200

Truro Vineyards has been a mandatory vacation stop ever since Culley and Miran turned 21. With unique wines like "Cranberry Red" along with classic choices. With tastings for only $15 it's a steal and a great way to see another part of the Cape. Can't make it? They sell their wine in Wellfleet at the liquor store, too.

Provincetown

Provincetown

Provincetown, MA

Provincetown is America’s oldest continuous art colony mixed with a flourishing contemporary art scene. It has welcomed artists for over a hundred years through its galleries, museums, and art houses. A personal fave? The salt water taffy shop connected to the hermit crab store!
