Known as America's most historic square-mile, poke around some of the oldest active streets in the country, cobblestones and all! If you want something a little more official, Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, and the Betsy Ross house are all within a 5 to 10 minute's walk - plus a ton of other great museums and parks.
A top contender for some of the best city views in Philly, the Schuylkill (pronounced "schew-gul") River Trail is a very nice walking / biking path that runs along the river from South Philly all the way up past the Art Museum. We recommend the view from the South Street Bridge!
Philadelphia is the city of neighborhoods. Because of lockdown, we spent most of our time falling in love while walking the little alleyways of Philly. We encourage anyone spending the weekend to walk the city and explore the little streets in between.
