It was Friday, July 7th, where James and I at met at Cooper’s Bluff. To this day, I could give you every detail of the night that would lead to forever. We talked, and laughed all night long to the point where our friends said it was time to go home at 3 AM. We both left with smiles from ear to ear because we both knew this was the beginning of everything. After that first night we became inseparable. From going on the boat, to the beach, going to the firehouse and everywhere in between, it was always just us. Throughout our summer we both quickly realized that home was actually a person, and both our homes became each other. We both started new adventures throughout the year. We began to conquer the world starting new jobs, James graduated and became an NYPD officer in the 115 precinct. There were lots of obstacles, but truly nothing stood in between the love we shared. My mother always said, “it only takes a New York minute.” I used to laugh, but she was right. James and I became each other’s best friend, better halves and soulmates. #CuffedByCeglia ♡
