Welcome Event

Be sure to wear your bathing suits and leave your towel behind as it will get wet. It’s also recommended to wear water shoes.

On Thursday afternoon, we’ll be tubing down the beautiful Truckee River about a 6min drive from our wedding venue and hotel— a fun, laid-back adventure for anyone who would like to join us! 🕒 Time: 3:00–5:00 PM 🚣 River Level: Class I–II (calm and beginner-friendly) ⏱ Duration: Approximately 1.5–2 hours We’ve decided to DIY the river float! Tubes are around $20 each, and we’ll have a simple plan for parking, inflating tubes, and floating the river together at a relaxed pace. At the end, a few drivers will shuttle cars back so everyone can easily get picked up. We’d love for you to join us for a fun, laid-back afternoon on the river! The end of the float will end at River Ranch Lodge & Restaurant a great place to get a few drinks & food!

Welcome Party

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Temperatures can be warm during the day and cooler in the evening. While there will be indoor space and outdoor heaters available, we suggest bringing a light jacket or coat just in case.

Join us as we kick off our wedding weekend! All guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed evening filled with delicious food, drinks, and quality time together before the big day. We’ll have a taco bar, great company, and plenty of time to mingle and settle into the weekend festivities. We can’t wait to start the celebration with you! *Vegetarian & gluten-free options will be available.

Semi-Formal: Suits and cocktail dresses. (just no jeans) Please note that the ceremony will be held on grass, which may be soft — we recommend avoiding stilettos. Temperatures can be warm during the day and cooler in the evening. While there will be indoor space and outdoor heaters available, we suggest bringing a light jacket or coat just in case.

Adults Only Celebration We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only event. Guests must be 21 years or older. Due to limited space, we had to be super intentional with our guest list, so we’re not able to offer plus ones—thank you for understanding 💛 Feel free to arrive at 3:30pm and grab and drink and settle in, the ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. We’ll be providing dinner and an open bar and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! *Vegetarian & Gluten Free options will be available.

Post Wedding Beach Day

Casual Beach Attire, bring your towels, chairs, umbrellas

Before heading home, join us for a relaxed beach day! Swing by for a swim, some sunshine, or a quick goodbye — come for all or part of the day, whatever feels right. Please arrive early as parking during summer can fill up rather quickly carpooling is recommended. This beach is perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking, so bring yours along if you have one. There is a grille on site called Wa-she-shu Grille where food (burgers, nachos, chicken fingers, wings, ect.) can be purchased. If you plan to enjoy alcoholic beverages, kindly bring a koozie or reusable cup to keep things low-key. South Lake Tahoe Casinos

Tony and I will be staying one night in the lodges at Meeks Bay we then will head down to stay at the Golden Nugget until Thursday. Anyone welcome to join us for more fun and adventure! We may be hiking, enjoying beach days, and exploring everything Tahoe has to offer.
