FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as you all know we ADORE children, we are asking that you make arrangements for childcare. We want a stress-free day of fun for both of us, and you! Enjoy a night out, kid-free! *For extenuating circumstances (ex. breastfeeding infants) - please contact us*

Question

Is there ample parking at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony venue (Church parking lot) tends to get busy on weekdays after school gets out, as there is a catholic school on the premises. There is ample parking at the reception venue, and cars are allowed to be parked there overnight and picked up promptly in the morning.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Unfortunately at this time, there is no planned transportation from the ceremony to the venue. In Providence, there are plenty of available Ubers and we aim to hopefully provide uber vouchers of some sort. Please do not drink and drive. Please see Michael and Jess if transportation is an issue. Cars can be left at the Overlook at Meehan parking lot and picked up promptly in the morning, per the venue.

Question

Are plus ones invited?

Answer

As much as we would love to have open doors for our night of fun- due to the limited space our large families, we have to stick to strict numbers. So only invited plus ones will be allowed. If theres any questions or concerns, please reach out to us!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside at a church. The reception will primarily be indoors, however there is a deck, dock and little beach area as well as a lawn for games and mingling. Cocktail hour may be outdoors, weather permitting

Question

How early should we arrive at the church?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to ensure parking and seating. Per the church policy, guests are advised not to enter late, as it is disruptive. If late, please just meet at the cocktail hour. Please dress and act respectfully while at the church.
