Over eight years ago, Alyssa & Gabe met at a seedy bar in Dana Point. The chemistry was strong & they fell for each other quickly. Alyssa thought Gabe was hilarious, which Gabe of course loved. Gabe thought Alyssa was perfect, which Alyssa thought was hilarious as well, lol. They built a really beautiful love that was very deeply rooted in friendship. Even though the love & friendship was there, towards the end of the second year of their relationship, things got tough, and the two decided to take some time apart in order to grow & become better versions of themselves. They were apart for quite some time, & life surely happened for them both. Alyssa went on to travel internationally, attended two Yoga Teacher Trainings & opened up her own Curly Hair Salon Studio in Oceanside, CA. Gabriel went to college & graduated from UC Irvine with a double major in Psychology & Criminology. He had a job he loved as the General Manager at a popular Steak & Sushi House by the beach. They both had been in & out of other relationships, & consequently learned a lot about who they were, what they wanted & what they didn't want. After two & a half years apart with no contact, they both started having frequent & vivid dreams of each other. The dreams were beautiful & felt very much like memories, but nothing in the dreams had happened yet. This caused them both to think about each other more & more... A few more synchronistic things started to happen that led Alyssa to finally reach out to Gabe. After catching up & realizing they both had been feeling drawn to the other through dreams, they decided to meet up for a date! Needless to say, the date went very well. In the upcoming month, they began to spend a lot of time together. They both were very excited, & also tentative... neither of them wanted to get hurt or hurt the other again. It was very clear that the love was still there, but had they grown enough as individuals to be able to create something that would last? After some time, & through experiencing more synchronistic & seemingly divine happenings, it became very clear, very quickly, that this was meant to be! Four years later, here they are, so excited to be finally celebrating their love & marriage with all of their closest friends & family!
