We meet in high school-- a transfer student and a popular funny guy. Both dealing the issues of previous relationships, still at a young age we knew what we wanted. I had know no idea who he was until one cloudy day after school, while waiting for the bus, we locked eyes, and in that moment I knew he was something special. He then followed me from the bus stop, and we've been connected every since. To prom we went, then on through college and graduation... so much we've been through and experienced in life, we've spent almost every single day together. Inseparable-- he is my best friend. --the Bride I saw her after school one day, and I told my best friend then that I needed to talk to her. Then one day after school, I met her coming from the neighborhood gas station. We exchanged neighbors and talked the same day. We got to rapping and that's how it happened. --the groom THE ENGAGEMENT-- He totally caught me off guard. I knew something was up when everyone in the house began to get dressed all at once. I was told that I was being set up to model for a photographer's profile, whom I had never met. I got dressed, and began to get upset because I had nothing to do to my hair. As got dressed and rushed out the door, my mom continued to call my cellphone to be sure that I made it on time. As I arrived at the beach, I got there and there was a photographer and his assistant. I posed and walked and posed and walk until at one point, he had be to stand still for a while. This while felt like it lasted forever-- until I heard music approaching from behind me. It was Jaheim's, Anything, our favorite song. At that moment, I knew it was happening. My heart began to flutter and my nerves were jumping all over the place. I turned around, and there he was-- with my whole family behind him. His family, and most of our closest friends. I was completely shocked, but I loved it. Our son, my most precious gift, was wearing a shirt that read "Mommy, will you marry my Daddy?" I cried, said yes, and we took off in marital bliss. --the bride
