FAQs

If you have any further questions, not answered here, please reach out to the bride, Sarah, directly at 304-638-9692
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Prelude music will begin at 2 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. This typically means knee-length or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or chic separates for women. For men, suits or dress slacks with a blazer and a button-down shirt. Ties are encouraged. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing jeans. Please also refrain from wearing white and ivory, as these colors are traditionally reserved for the bride. Bridesmaids will be wearing raspberry.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those explicitly named on your invitation attend. If your invitation includes a guest, you’ll see their name or “+1” listed. We are unable to accomodate additional guests not listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding is an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements in advance—we truly appreciate it!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered on Zola (see the Registry tab), Amazon and Crate & Barrel

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Huntington Fairfield Inn & Suits, plus additional recommendations on where to say under the "Travel" tab.

Question

What can I expect from a Catholic wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be Catholic, but it will include only the marriage rite, not a full mass. This means the service will be shorter—around 35-40 minutes—and will focus on the exchange of vows and blessings. Whether you're familiar with Catholic traditions or not, all are welcome!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there are large parking lots located at the ceremony and reception venues. Please arrive to the ceremony early enough to allow yourself time for parking and finding a seat.

Question

Can I take pictures at your ceremony?

Answer

Out of respect for the church, a sacred place of worship, we will be having an unplugged ceremony.

Question

What if I miss your RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests submit their online RSVP no later than August 10th. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accommodate any guests who RSVP later than this.
