Question

Where will the wedding ceremony be?

Answer

Villa DeHuff - Our new home at 945 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford, CT

Question

Where will the reception and party be?

Answer

The reception will be a tented reception in our new yard at Villa DeHuff: 945 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford, CT.

Question

What are the hotel accommodations?

Answer

We would love for family/friends to extend their stay overnight with us to keep the party going however due to the close proximity of most guests, we have opted not to book a hotel block. We have made some suggestions for local hotels under the "Travel" section of this website, we also recommend AIRBNB or VRBO for weekend rentals for large groups. Homewood Suites in Stratford is closest to our home and is recommended. If you wish to make other accommodations or head home after the celebration, please feel free to do. Please drive responsibly.

Question

Will there be any type of after party available?

Answer

We are hoping to keep the party going after the reception at our home and have a small bonfire with s'mores.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will have two food trucks for our wedding reception, Taco Loco (Tacos + Churros) and Loco BBQ (BBQ). RSVP cards will not specify a meal option rather ask if there are any food accommodations you require due to dietary preferences or medical accommodations. We will make every attempt to curate a menu that accommodates everyone. Meal options will include vegan, gluten free, nut free, and dairy free options. Please ensure to note accommodations at time of RSVP.

Question

Do you accommodate food allergies?

Answer

Yes of course! We will do our best to accommodate food allergies with our caterer however you MUST please state this at the time of your RSVP so that we may plan accordingly with our vendors.

Question

What alcohol and beverages will be served?

Answer

We will be offering beer and wine and select alcoholic seltzers/ciders as well as soda, water, and lemonades during the event. Should you prefer a different type of spirit, we kindly ask that you bring your own and drink in moderation.

Question

Where can we park?

Answer

Guests may park on Honeycomb Lane (next to our home), at the nearby Route 15 commuter lot and carpool, or at the hotel.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear business casual attire and dress for the unpredictable July weather. Not too casual but also not too formal as this is a backyard wedding. Summer dresses, khakis, polos, button-ups are all welcome. Please kindly leave shorts, sneakers and stiletto heels at home.

Question

Are my children allowed?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our life and would love to celebrate together we kindly ask that you leave the kiddos at home. We will have only the children who are a part of our wedding party at this event and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We hope that this will allow you to enjoy a night off with us!

Question

What type of gifts should we give or bring?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is more than enough. However if you'd like to gift us something to start our married life together, we truly would appreciate any gifts that you may purchase for us. For your convenience we have set up a Zola and Amazon registry with a few wish list items for our new home.
