FAQs

Question

When is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on 08/02/2026 with the ceremony starting at 4:30 PM. More detailed information will be shared closer to the big day!

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at: Spruce Mountain Ranch - Lower Ranch 14771 S Spruce Mountain Rd, Larkspur CO, 80118

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The attire is formal. Please dress comfortably for the season and venue.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles taking guests to and from the venue. To guarantee your spot on the shuttle, you must book your stay at our hotel block listed below: The Inverness Denver – A Hilton Golf & Spa Resort Guests staying at this hotel will have a reserved spot on the shuttle to the venue and a safe ride home at the end of the night. We strongly encourage this, as pick up via ride share services such as Uber or Lyft will be very difficult after the reception given the location of the venue. There will be one shuttle to the venue from the hotel, and two shuttles departing from the venue at varying times.

Answer

Please let us know by contacting us directly at CSJPwedding@gmail.com so we can make arrangements. If you are vegetarian or would prefer a vegetarian meal, please let us know by emailing us at CSJPwedding@gmail.com. Our caterer is only preparing vegetarian meals upon request, so it’s important that we hear from you in advance to make sure you’re taken care of!

Question

Is Uber/Lyft a reliable source for dropping off and picking up at Spruce Mountain Ranch?

Answer

If needed, we recommend pre-arranging drop-offs and pickups with these apps. Typically, Spruce Mountain Ranch has found that it is easy to arrange for drop-offs, but is extremely unreliable for pickups. For this reason, we recommend our guests stay in the above listed hotel which will provide you with transportation to / from the wedding venue.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Not necessarily! Most guests won’t need to rent a car unless you plan to explore the mountains, go hiking, or take day trips on your own. From the Denver International Airport (DEN), you have a few easy options to get to the hotel: Uber or Lyft: These rideshares are readily available from the airport and take about 30 minutes to reach the Englewood area, where the hotel is located. RTD Train: If you’d like to explore downtown Denver first, hop on the RTD A Line train directly from the airport to Union Station (about 35 minutes). From there, you can enjoy the city for a bit and then take an Uber or Lyft to the hotel in Englewood (another 30 minutes). If you do want a rental car for extra flexibility: Major rental companies are located at the airport. Turo, a car-sharing app, often has more affordable and flexible options. We recommend not renting an electric vehicle as Denver often does not have reliable/ functioning EV charging stations, especially in the mountains.

Question

What’s the altitude like?

Answer

Spruce Mountain Ranch sits at about 6,200 feet above sea level. This is higher than most cities in the U.S., so the air is thinner here. You may notice you get winded more quickly than usual, especially during physical activity. Tips to adjust: Hydrate early and often: Aim for more water than you normally drink. Be mindful with alcohol: It can affect you faster at higher altitudes, so it may be a good idea to drink water between beverages. Moisturize & use SPF: The sun is stronger at higher altitudes. If you feel lightheaded or short of breath, rest and hydrate. Many gas stations or supermarkets sell Boost oxygen cans if needed.
