They met through their best friends, Lindsey and Prestyn. Skylr and Lindey met up with Prestyn one night and not too soon after, Prestyn texted Lindsey to see if Skylr was interested in talking to a friend... That friend ended up being Charles and after a moment of consideration, Skylr agreed to it. From that night, they talked to each other constantly and the rest is history.

Charles picked up Skylr and brought her to a party at his house. Before they got there, they stopped at the store to get last minute things. While Charles and Raven were shopping, Skylr waited in the car. Not too long after, Charles came back and in his hand was a white rose (which is Skylr's favorite) and asked her to be his girlfriend. In complete shock, she said yes.

The couple took a staycation to celebrate Charles' birthday. Early Saturday evening, they went out to dinner and made a stop for Charles while a plan was being executed.. When they got back to the hotel, Skylr led the way to the room and as she opened it, the room was decorated everywhere. Her first thought was that this was part of her Valentine's Day gift but, as she walked further in, there was balloons that spelled out "Marry Me" across the headboard. From there, she knew what was really going on and started crying. Charles got down on one knee and proposed to Skylr. Without hesitation, she responded, yes, yes, yes!
