We first met in 2015 and said one word to each other. Fast forward 7 years (of not seeing each other again or speaking) we’re the maid of honor and best man in our friends’ wedding. At this point, maybe five words total exchanged, ha! And now… fast forward to today. I’d say things turned out pretty dang great.

We went to our favorite restaurant establishment, McDonald’s, and had a picnic at the waterfront. We went on a walk and then finally came to a stop at the blue benches (left one to be exact). Chris asked if I was ready to get emotional (yes…I knew it was coming) and I responded with “No.” He proceeded anyways and of course I said YES!

April 19, 2024. Ironwoods Beach in Maui. Chris, me, the officiant we found on Instagram, and my mom (+ her kindergarten class) on FaceTime. We said “I Do” at sunrise.
