Our love story is a journey…a journey of two seemingly different people discovering that they had more in common than they thought. A friendship blossomed from shared childhood stories, outlook in life and aspirations for our futures. As that friendship flourished, life got to us. We grew older, growing in and out of each other’s lives, growing into our own person, but interestingly, never truly growing away from each other. A perfect match just within each other’s grasp, never finding the perfect timing. When the universe finally aligned in 2017, we took that leap of faith and as the phrase goes…the rest was history. Flash forward to February 8, 2020, Curtis popped the big question. We were so ready to start the rest of our lives together. That is until the month of March, where the entire world was completely shut down. As the world slowed down and everything was unsure, we knew in our hearts that nothing was going to stop us from starting the rest of our lives. On August 18, 2020, we eloped to the courthouse and officially became Mr. & Mrs. Dao. It was perfect. The following year, in March of 2021, we bought our first house together, one that we can start and grow our family in. Later that year, we found out we were pregnant and on July 27, 2022, we welcomed our first born, Cayleb Dao. We are so glad we didn't wait and love the life that we've built and continuing to build, but now, we believe it is our chance to share and celebrate our love with the people who matter most to us.
