Crystany and Juwan's love story began on the campus of Pfeiffer University where they both were student athletes on the men and women's basketball teams and often saw each other on campus. Mutual friends had always thought Crystany and Juwan would be the perfect match...turns out, they were right. One day, Crystany and her best friend Dymond were wanting to watch the popular TV show, All American. As some people know, dorm lifestyle can be rough, leaving Crystany and Dymond with limited-to-no cable options. It just so happened that their friend Tasker had stopped by their residence hall and told them that he had cable and that they could come over and watch it at his apartment in New Hall. Little did Crystany know that Juwan was Tasker's roommate. After watching the show, Crystany shot her shot and asked Juwan if she could join him in a game of 2K. Needless to say, Juwan was smitten and reached out to Crystany the next day and the rest is history! After they graduated from Pfeiffer, the two re-located to Hickory where they started the next chapter of their lives together - celebrating both milestones as a newly engaged couple and parents to their handsome son, Ca'Tai LaRue Blanton.
