I was not looking for Will and he was not looking for me however, we were looking for a good time, while dancing the night away at International Nightclub. Will watched me and my girls dance and bounce around the club for hours. Will was standing on the wall just chilling and enjoying the scene. He was looking handsome, cool and real laid back so I figured I would go to take a break and cool off from dancing right next to him while having a little, casual conversation until I hit the dance floor again. At the end of the night Will asked for my number to meet for drinks the following week. I gave him my number and we only texted once to make sure we were still good for our Friday date. It’s funny because he only wanted to have drinks and not dinner because he said he had to attend a coworker function however, I knew that was just a scapegoat in case we didn’t hit it off so he had an “out” lol! Well, needless to say, we had great conversation and he invited me to attend the coworker function along with him. He was impressed at my ability to connect with his coworkers and have a good time with complete strangers (he didn’t know at the time that I never meet a stranger). From that point we began spending most weekends together.

After spending most weekends together and maybe dinner through the week. Will wanted to see me on a random Wednesday so we met on 7th Street and McDowell in the CVS parking lot. Will gives me a big hug and says….. Will: I don’t see you enough. Me: We see each other every weekend, that’s not enough? Will: I need to see you more, the weekends are not enough. Me: Well, if you’re not looking for anything serious then the weekends should be just right. Will: I know but I want to see you during the week not just the weekends. Me: Okay, but you’re going to mess around and fall in love. I’m just saying 🤷🏾‍♀️ Will: I wouldn’t say all that but I do need to see you more. From that day in the CVS parking lot we became inseperable and fell deeply in love!
