Things To Do

Black Forest Pies & Grinders

11470 Black Forest Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80908
, (719) 495-8555

One of our favorite pizza places we go is here! We love their all meat pizza and hot wings are absolutely amazing. Stop in for a quick bite to eat! The owner is pretty awesome too.

Manitou Incline

Cascade, CO 80809

Shawn loves to walk/run up the incline. If you are wanting to see the city from a whole different view this is a must. This is considered an extreme trail and is an advanced hike! The Manitou Incline gains nearly 2,000 feet of elevation over less than 1 mile. It's not for the faint of heart, but people from all walks (or climbs) of life have successfully conquered it. It is, perhaps, the most unique and challenging trail in the country, attracting runners, military, Olympic athletes, and hiking enthusiasts from around the world. More than anything, the Manitou Incline is famous for dishing out a tough workout. Are you up for the challenge?

Seven Bridges Trail

North Cheyenne Canyon Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906
, (719) 685-5089

One of our very first hikes we did together! If you want a nice hike with great scenery yet wont kill you this is the one. A popular moderately-difficult 5.78 mile out and back hiking-only trail located in North Cheyenne Cañon. The trail follows a mountain stream and is one of the few cool hikes in the summer

Garden of the Gods

The Park is a unique biological melting pot where the grasslands of the Great Plains meet the pinon-juniper woodlands characteristic of the American Southwest and merge with the mountain forest of the 14,115-foot Pikes Peak - America's Mountain.
