There are not enough words to express how much love, respect, and trust I have for Tavo. Tavo has brought a light into my life that is brighter than the sun, moon, and stars. Our relationship has blossomed into a love like no other. A love I’ve always dreamt about. I am incredibly blessed to have friends and family who have been on this journey with us from the beginning. Those who will be standing by our sides are the ones I can count on to be with us from beginning to end, for the happiness, tears (good ones), and laughter. Each person in our wedding party holds a special place in my heart. I absolutely cannot think of a group better suited to celebrate this special time in our lives with. Here’s to a lifetime of love!

In life, we all come across incredible people that become a fabric of your existence and motivation to achieve what you desire. Then, some are lucky enough to come across that one person who becomes the best extension of yourself and what you continue to strive for - that’s who Crystal is for me. I’m blessed to marry the best person I know and couldn’t be more thrilled standing up with some of the most important people in our lives - our brothers and sisters (we’re only children though, actually). I feel so fortunate to have met Crystal during our senior year at Middlebury College. Being her next-door neighbor made that final year even more special—not only did I gain unforgettable memories, but I also found one of my biggest supporters, my best friend, and someone who is like a sister to me. We spent countless late nights making ramen and watching every season of One Tree Hill. After graduation, we did our best to keep in touch, but I’m beyond grateful that life brought me back closer to her. Moving to Chicago also introduced me to a new friend, Tavo—and I truly couldn’t imagine anyone more thoughtful, kind, and considerate for my best friend. Over the past couple of years, Tavo and I have become fast friends, and I know I can always count on him for some solid guy advice. He’s become the perfect extension of our friendship. Tavo and Crystal, I’m so excited for your big day and couldn’t be happier for this next chapter in your lives!

I have known Tavo my entire life (unfortunately)… just kidding. With our mom’s being sisters and living down the street from each other, weekends were for hangouts and endless sleepovers. Even though Tavo is an only child we have been brothers ever since he was born. From going ice skating to family bbq’s and playing at the park, we have always been in each other’s lives. Through the good times and the bad times. When life seemed to be going the wrong way we have always had each other’s back. Words can’t explain the love and joy I feel knowing Tavo will marry an intellectual and spiritual woman such as Crystal. Crystal brings so much empathy and kindness, our family welcomes her with open arms. I have seen Tavo grow up from a young boy to a grown man and I can confidently say that Crystal brings out the best in him. There is no doubt in my mind that Tavo and Crystal were made for each other. Two peas in a pod as some might say. I am honored to stand next to you guys on your big day. I can’t wait for you to tie the knot and for Crystal to officially be my sister in law.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Tavo since 2008, and over the years, our friendship has only grown stronger. From our high school days, to bonding over the Chicago Bulls and Harry Potter, to the many moments that have defined our friendship, it’s been an amazing journey. It’s even more special that Tavo introduced me to Crystal, who has become one of my dearest friends. Crystal and I bonded instantly over our love for the Jonas Brothers and shared sense of childhood nostalgia. Not only is Crystal my go-to concert buddy but she’s also someone I turn to for life advice and support. We have so much in common, and I truly value our friendship. I’m incredibly excited to stand by Tavo and Crystal on their special day, and I couldn’t be happier for them as they start this next chapter of their lives.

Hey everyone! Where do I start? Tavo has been a brother of mine for almost a decade. We bonded early at ISU over our love for basketball. He’s not very good, but I loved his passion for the game, although his poor taste (being a Chicago Bulls fan among other things) has always concerned me. On a serious note, I’m grateful to have crossed paths with Tavo. He’s a great guy and I’m super happy that he and Crystal found each other. They bring out the best of one another and I’m happy to be a part of their journey. Em and I look forward to the continued domination of all future game nights!
