WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Kurt is a firefighter for Gainesville Fire Rescue, and when we first met I was working in the Emergency Department in Gainesville. Given the environments him and I worked in, there were many times we'd cross paths, but never really having the chance to get to know one another at first, although we shared many mutual friends which helped connect us. One random day in early December 2015, Kurt reached out to me using his charm and showing his interest in taking me out on a date. His charm worked, and I accepted his invitation, and I'm glad I did :-)

Our first date was at BJs Brewery in Gainesville, FL

Kurt and I planned a trip to Savannah, GA to celebrate our two year anniversary which was January 15, 2018. As him and I were walking around in Forsythe Park (which is gorgeous!), he'd asked a girl to take our picture next to the fountain, and just before she was done, he specifically asked her to take a picture long ways (which I thought was strange because he's not picky with picture taking at all) and when she turned the camera he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him!!! I had a sneaky suspicion it may happen on our 2-year anniversary weekend, but I didn't expect it to happen at that particular moment, so it still surprised me!!
