Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes, please let us know so we can add them to the guest list (and so you can RSVP for them once invites are sent). Going to the ceremony: Our venue has limited attendance, double check with us to make sure we have included you and your guest. You get an automatic yes to the reception, as well. Going to the reception: You absolutely can have a guest- just let us know so we can have an accurate guest count (and so that you can RSVP for them)

Are kids welcome?

To the reception, absolutely. We encourage kids and will have a sitter there to watch them, as well. Please let us know if you are bringing your kiddos so we can add them to the guest list (and so you can RSVP for them).

Where can we stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at DoubleTree by Hilton, Columbia MD. You can choose from a King bed or two queen-sized beds. Please use the code "Sewell Nanes Wedding" when booking. Many family members are choosing to book an AirBNB close by, which is a great option- if you and your family/friends, want to do this, we can recommend some areas to book in.

Where do we enter for the ceremony (at the zoo)?

Answer

Guests will park at the Mansion House (which is outside of the zoo), address to be given closer to date to those attending. There will be zoo employees there to guide to the gate which will lead to The Elephant Overlook. For guests with mobility issues, a golf cart ride to the site can be provided- we will need a head count and guests names ahead of time to ensure everyone is where they need to be. Please arrive by 12:45; the ceremony starts exactly at 1pm
