When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be at Adler Planetarium on August 23, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM, so please aim to arrive by 6:00 PM to ensure a smooth start.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that guests wear black for our wedding celebration. For cultural or personal reasons, champagne or beige attire is also welcome. Thank you for following this request - we can't wait to see everyone looking amazing!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Only those whose names are on the invitation are invited. If you were given a plus one, it will be clearly specified on your invite. Unfortunately, we will not have seating for additional guests, so please do not bring a plus one unless indicated. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! If your child is invited, you will be able to add their name when you RSVP. We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. In case of rain, they will be moved indoors. The reception will take place indoors.

August in Chicago is usually beautiful, with average temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s°F.

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

We’ll be providing complimentary shuttle service from both of our room block hotels to the wedding ceremony. You do not need to be staying at these hotels to use the shuttle—just plan to meet there at the designated pick-up time.
