We're getting married, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

John and Crystal got to know one another and became friends over the years during John's trips to visit family in Chicago. After John made the move to the city in 2020, Crystal, being a former downtown native, was a great tour guide and help in getting settled. They started to spend more time together and quickly learned they had quite a bit in common. Visiting local restaurants in Old Town and playing golf at Centennial Park in Munster became a weekly occurrence that summer. Later that fall, what started as a fun trip to play golf and visit Crystal's brother Michael and now sister-in-law Mary in Green Lake, WI, ended with them officially announcing they were dating. A lot of great things have happened since that first summer together. John has become a Dog Dad to Crystal's 5lb morkie, Wayne. They moved in together to Crystal's condo in Munster, IN. And they have traveled quite a bit, going coast to coast to visit family in LA and NYC, making yearly trips to Hilton Head, and taking an amazing trip to Amsterdam and Germany. It was one of those trips to New York City that led to this big event. John had a work trip scheduled to visit a customer just outside of the city and Crystal was due for a visit to see her brother Justin and brother-in-law Nick downtown; the timing was perfect. With some great help from Nick and Justin, John was able to pull off a surprise proposal just over the river in Long Island City with the NYC skyline in the background. Aside from being -2 degrees outside that evening, it was a perfect night. And that leads us up to today...Crystal and John are both so excited to celebrate with all of their friends and family and can't wait to see everyone this Fall!!
