We're getting married!

It all began in Dallas, where fate had a funny way of making sure our paths crossed. James was wrapping up school, and Crystal was just starting her career—both settling into new chapters of life. Our story truly began on New Year’s Eve, when James invited Crystal to a party to ring in the 2023. As the clock struck midnight, we shared our first kiss, a sweet and simple start to what would become our forever. We fell in love quickly, spending nearly every day together and building a relationship filled with laughter, friendship, and adventure. Along the way, we were surrounded by friends and family who supported us and played such a meaningful role in our journey. As our love grew, so did our little family. In October 2023, we brought home our first mini dachshund, Scooby, and by March 2024, he was joined by his partner-in-crime, Butter. Life hasn’t been the same since these little sausages filled a special place in our hearts. Our home base is Dallas, but our hearts are always drawn to the mountains of Park City, Utah, and the tranquility of Lakeside, Montana, two places that have become part of our story. On July 13, 2025, James got down on one knee on the Lakeside dock were he spent summers as a child. The same dock where we spent countless days writing our love story. That special place, filled with memories of laughter, sunsets, and dreams, became the spot where Crystal said yes to forever. The moment was pure magic, captured by an inconspicuous photographer that was supposedly there to take a family photo. We can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter with all our friends and family in Nantucket. It’s going to be the most unforgettable weekend of our lives, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.
