Crystal and Eli first met in college at Macomb County Community College in 2004. Crystal first caught Eli’s eye as her and a mutual friend walked down the staircase from their last class of the day. He was too nervous to approach her at first, so he questioned their mutual friend about Crystal. After seeing each other in passing through school, Eli later mustered up some courage to ask Crystal for her cell phone number. Unfortunately, Crystal and Eli later broke up due to a jealous friend. In 2017, Crystal and Eli reconnected via Facebook… talking everyday and hanging out every weekend. On November 14, 2021, Eli called Crystal into the kitchen, surprising her with dinner for their dating anniversary. As she began to walk out of the kitchen, he got down on one knee and pulled out the baby’s rattle shaped like a big diamond ring. Thinking that Eli was joking around and that was a sensitive matter for Crystal, she turned away upset. When she turned around to give Eli a piece of her mind, he had the ring in hand. Needless to say, Crystal said yes.
