Our story began in Short Pump at World of Beer, on a night that neither of us expected would change our lives forever. I was there with my girlfriends when three men walked into the restaurant. One of them immediately caught my attention, not because I knew him, but because he was wearing bowling shoes in a restaurant. Without hesitation, I yelled across the room to ask if they really were bowling shoes. Austin spun around, genuinely shocked, as if there could possibly be another person in the restaurant wearing bowling shoes. That moment broke the ice, and before we knew it, we were chatting and laughing. That summer, our friendship turned into something more, and we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. From that first playful interaction to countless memories since, we have grown together, supported one another, and built a life and a home filled with love, laughter, and partnership. What started with bowling shoes turned into forever, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the journey that brought us here.
