FAQs

If you have any other questions besides what is listed below, please feel free to email us at sebastianandelizabeth.wedding@gmail.com, and we will do our best to answer any other questions you may have.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To avoid delays and distractions at the start of the ceremony and ensure timely and proper seating for all guests, we ask that you arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the time listed on your invitation. We will start promptly at the time listed, so don't be late!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our primary color is dusty lavender, and we kindly ask guests to complement this. Soft, muted tones like sage green, cream, dusty rose pink, or forest green are just a few examples. To keep the overall color palette cohesive, we kindly request avoiding vibrant colors. In addition, to honor the bride's cultural background, we encourage guests to dress in Filipiñanas (for women) and Barong Tagalog (for men). Please refer to the links below for an example of traditional Filipino clothing. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us. Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests come in formal or black-tie attire--think red-carpet ready! To keep the vibe elegant, we ask that you avoid jeans. For color scheme inspiration, please see the "What should I wear to the wedding?" question above.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible at the "RSVP" tab. Our last day to RSVP is August 27, 2027.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have decided that our wedding day will be a kid-free zone. Take this moment to enjoy and dance the night away worry free!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate if you are able to bring a plus one. If you have any questions regarding this topic, please feel free to reach out.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any kind of food allergy, please reach out to us at sebastianandelizabeth.wedding@gmail.com. We want to be as accommodating as possible for all our guests.

Question

What else can I expect on the wedding day?

Answer

In order to honor both the bride and groom's cultural backgrounds, we have decided to incorporate some Mexican and Filipino wedding traditions. This will include the Filipino tradition of the "money dance", where guests are able to come up and dance with the bride and groom. Please refer to the link below to learn more about this tradition.
