Flight: Merida Airport (MID) Flights will most likely be connecting flights. Most used airlines are Aeromexico, United, and Volaris; however, Volaris does have the tendency to oversell their flights. It is highly advised to arrive at the airport three hours prior to departure time. Option 1 – Fly out from LAX or SFO airport. Option 2 – Fly out from Tijuana (TJX) airport, through Cross Border Xpress (CBX) in San Diego. CBX is a bridge connecting San Diego to Tijuana airport terminal without having to cross the borderline by car. You will have to purchase a roundtrip ticket at CBX website or at their kiosk to be able to cross the bridge. CBX also provides parking lots for a fixed rate (https://www.crossborderxpress.com/en/). Transport: Ordering an Uber or Lyft are one of the easiest and cheapest way to get around Merida. There are car rentals, however, take into consideration the different driving culture and rules. Accommodation: More info coming soon
For all the days along the way
