Angelica & Gabriel first met back in October 2014 while they were both working at JCPenney. At the time, JCP decided to let its employees dress up for Halloween, and while both were walking through the dock, they caught each other's attention with their costumes. Both asking each other, “Who are you supposed to be?” Gabriel, a superhero based on his work title. Angelica as “Big Bird!” Without missing a beat upon hearing this, Gabriel responded in the most dorky way, “Are you going to teach me my ABCs?” The two would eventually go on to add each other on social media and start communicating more frequently, which led Gabriel to start hanging around her workstation, trying to convince her to stay later to help clean up. However, in truth, it was to spend more time with her. Then, on January 17, 2015, it happened, the first of many dates. Angelica & Gabriel went out for lunch at Piece Pizza, where they shared their mutual love of Harry Potter, pepperoni, and dislike of sausage pizza, a true match made in heaven. Time went on, and after many more dates and evenings spent together, on March 13, 2015, they both affirmed that they wanted something more with each other. Fast forward to November 2024, yes, over 9 years of being dating and a year of her calling him “roommate”, on a very, very cold night in Paris, Gabriel finally got down on one knee and asked Angelica, to her complete & utter surprise, the big one “can I be more than you’re roommate, Will You Marry Me?”
