FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please be seated at St. David's Parish by 11:30am. We invite you to join us in a prayer for the couple (the Rosary) as we begin the celebration, leading into the ceremony at 12:00pm. Kindly arrive on time so the ceremony may begin as scheduled.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal – Attire that is respectful and appropriate for the church ceremony. Light in colour, no white or beige. Attire Guidelines for the Church Ceremony: Men: Suit or dress pants with a collared shirt (tie or jacket recommended). Women: Modest dress, skirt, or dressy pantsuit; shoulders covered, knee-length or longer.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Ceremony: Complimentary parking available in the church lot. Reception: Complimentary parking available in the the Paradise Banquet lot.

Question

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The reception venue is about a 15–20 minutes drive from the church. Simply head south on Jane Street from Major Mackenzie Drive and continue straight until you reach Highway 7 — Paradise Banquet is on Jane Street. We recommend allowing 20–25 minutes to travel from the church to the reception venue.

Question

Where should I stay if I’m coming from out of town?

Answer

We have reserved a room block for our wedding guests at Novotel - Vaughan, located 10 minutes from Paradise Banquet Hall. Refer to Hotel section for more information. Book by May 5 for the discounted rate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our celebration will be an adults-only event, unless children were specifically included on your invitation. If you have a baby under 2 years old, please reach out to us directly — we will do our best to accommodate and ensure seating is arranged properly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, only those listed on the invitation are invited. If your invitation says “and guest,” then you are welcome to bring your plus one!
