While we love your little ones, we have decided to have an adults-only celebration.
Garden Cocktail Attire: cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, or collared dress shirts with slacks and a tie. We encourage guests to embrace soft florals, romantic silhouettes, flowy fabrics, and luminous garden-inspired hues. To complement the theme, we kindly ask guests to avoid dark colors, particularly black, whenever possible. As this is a formal event, we kindly ask guests to avoid casual or resort-style attire. Please note that the ceremony will take place on a grass lawn, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats.
Yes - the ceremony will be held outdoors, and the reception will be held indoors.
Ample free onsite parking is available at the venue, and overnight parking is permitted.
We want all of our guests to have a safe and enjoyable evening. For your convenience, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are easily accessible from the venue.
In general, the climate in Colorado is sunny and dry, but there is always the possibility of a surprise thunderstorm during the summer. In June, average temperatures range from 70-90 degrees - please be sure to check the local weather forecast for Lyons, Colorado and pack accordingly. We recommend packing protective sun wear regardless of the forecast: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
Lyons sits at an altitude of 5,341 feet, so we recommend taking a few steps in the days leading up to the wedding to ensure you feel your best. While you can absolutely enjoy a drink during the wedding, here are some suggestions to help you adjust to the altitude: Stay Hydrated: Starting a few days before your trip (and continuing throughout your stay), drink plenty of water and consider adding electrolytes to help keep you balanced. Nutrient-Dense Meals: Focus on eating meals rich in nutrients to help your body adjust and stay energized. Try to limit alcohol and caffeine, especially in the first few days after you arrive, as they can contribute to dehydration. Exercise with Care: The effects of exercise are more intense at higher altitudes, so if you plan to hike or engage in any physical activity, be mindful of overexertion. Take breaks, listen to your body, and pace yourself. Listen to Your Body: Common signs of altitude sickness include headaches, nausea, and fatigue. If you start to feel any of these symptoms, be sure to rest and hydrate. We will have supplies on hand to help manage altitude sickness should you experience any discomfort. We want everyone to have a wonderful, enjoyable time, and we hope these tips help you feel your best leading up to the big day!
We are choosing to have an unplugged ceremony to allow guests to be fully connected. After the ceremony, we welcome guests to snap photos and share them using the QR codes provided.
