FAQs

Question

How to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 1, 2026. View the "RSVP" tab for more details.

Question

I missed the RSVP deadline, can I still come?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP as soon as possible so we can best accommodate you. We completely understand that life gets busy; however, due to venue capacity and finalized guest counts, we’re only able to accommodate guests who RSVP by the deadline. Thank you so much for your understanding and for celebrating with us in spirit if you’re unable to attend.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! :) The attire is Garden Formal (Black-Tie Optional). Ladies: Think colorful mid-length to long dresses in chiffon, silk, or other light, flowing fabrics. Please avoid shades traditionally reserved for the bride, such as whites, ivories, and creams. Opt for formal dresses in cheerful colors, sophisticated prints, and playful details. Soft greens, citrus tones, and warm yellows and oranges work beautifully. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up! Gentlemen: Suits or jackets with a button-up shirt and dress pants are ideal, with ties preferred. For ideas, here is a Pinterest board to base your outfit on: https://pin.it/1sGiPBQTY (Copy & paste this link into your browser to view!) Please no jeans, tennis shoes, T-shirts, or polos. Guests are encouraged to wear button-down shirts with dress pants and mid- to long-length dresses.

Question

Where can we park for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking is available at the Saint Francis Barracks for both the ceremony and the reception. The distance from Saint Francis Barracks to the Cathedral Basilica is 0.5 miles, a gorgeous walk along the bayfront!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 2 PM. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Downtown traffic can be unpredictable, so please plan accordingly. Guests should be seated by 1:45 PM.

Question

Will I be able to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are so excited to have found an amazing photographer and videographer to capture our day. To ensure everyone can be fully present, our ceremony will be phone- and camera-free. This allows all of us to experience the moment together while preserving the sacred and intimate nature of the ceremony. We invite you to take as many pictures as you'd like at the reception. :)

Question

What time does cocktail hour/reception start?

Answer

We will be starting cocktail hour at 4:30 PM. There will be an hour and a half gap before the reception, giving you plenty of time to explore some of our favorite spots listed on our "Things To Do" page as you make your way to the Saint Francis Barracks.

Question

Can I ship a gift to your home?

Answer

Yes! You can find more information by checking out our registry.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation for all members of your family who are invited. This includes kids. :) Please feel free to use the family seating at the back of the church if needed. Keep in mind that the evening goes until 10 PM. Don’t feel bad about leaving early if you need to put your little ones (or yourself) to bed. The gap between the ceremony and reception is a perfect time to drop off your children with their babysitter, if preferred!

Question

Can I bring a +1/Date?

Answer

Due to the nature of our more intimate celebration, we are not allowing +1's unless formally invited. If you are given a +1, it will be listed on your invitation and RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

At the moment, no! Please visit the “Travel” page on our website for our top recommendations. There are plenty of wonderful options, including hotels, bed and breakfasts, and Airbnbs!

Question

What events are happening during the weekend?

Answer

Please visit our "Schedule" page for a full list of events. Be sure to RSVP for any events you plan to attend. There’s no pressure to attend the Welcome Party or Beach Day, but if you’re in town, we’d love to see you!
