What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is black formal. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or black suit and tie. Alternatively, a black evening gown or a black midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate. Please no jeans, polos, or colors other than black and white. (Clearly no dress should be white, bc this is a wedding.... DUH)

What's the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Uber or even drive your own car! There is plenty of parking around the mansion & next to the park. If you would like a diagram, HMU. I have a little photo diagram of all the parking around the mansion & park.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail will be outdoors, while the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the ceremony through a grassy field. For that reason, stiletto heels are not recommended (but if you believe in your abilities, go for it hunny!).

Is there a room block at a hotel?

Answer

With so many in town guests, we opted not to book a room block. There are a few recommendations on the travel tab of our favorite hotels!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to continue the party after the reception, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 726 S Cassingham Rd. Columbus, OH 43209. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
