Michaela graduated college and began working at a Digital Advertising Agency where she met, worked alongside, and became very good friends with Nicole Tiexiera (Christian’s now Sister-In-Law). Nicole had mentioned to Christian how he should meet Michaela and vice versa to Michaela - neither of us wanted to do a blind date or a blind double date so she was at a loss of how to have us meet! At the time, Nicole had just gotten engaged to Kyle, Christian’s brother. Nicole and Kyle hosted an engagement party for all of their family and friends. Nicole introduced us at the engagement party and we have been inseparable since then. Fast forward to five years later on the same day that we met, Christian proposed on a beautiful hiking trail. It is one of Michaela's favorite trails because of its numerous brooks, peaceful scenery, and now it is where her best friend asked her to spend the rest of their lives together. We chose to get married in Maine as it means the world to us. We love to hike, camp, and have spent many summer and fall days exploring the area. In fact, Christian grew up vacationing ten minutes away from where we will be getting married! We are so excited for all of our family and friends to experience the beautiful area. More importantly, we can't wait to get married and start our next adventure.
