YES! We need everyone to RSVP on the website no later than October 30, 2019. In fact, the sooner you can do it the better! Even if you think you told us you're coming, please do us a solid and slide on over to the RSVP tab on this site and let us know if you plan to come, and if you're bringing a date! Please also RSVP if you are not able to attend. It's important for planning purposes that we have an exact count.
We love your kids–we really do! Please take the night "off" and make it a date night!
The dress code is cocktail attire. We recommend a cocktail dress for the ladies and a suit and tie or sport coat for the gents. But we want you to feel comfortable, happy, and festive, so feel free to "do you" and dress more formally if you like and/or emphasize your personal style as you see fit.
This is partly true, but don't worry—we promise you'll be comfortable. The wedding ceremony will take place in the Pavilion at the Joseph Ambler Inn. The Pavilion is a "semi-open" venue immediately adjacent to the reception space, but it has heaters and a roof to keep you warm and dry. The rest of the events throughout the evening are fully indoors with some very brief walking between buildings on the grounds.
The rumor is true! We ask that you please turn off all phones and cameras during the wedding ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture this intimate part of our day so that you can sit back, relax, enjoy, and be in the moment with us. Don't worry! You can get back to snapping photos at the cocktail hour, reception, and after-party!
Of course! Feel free to take and post pictures from the cocktail hour, reception, and after-party, but we also encourage you not to experience the entire event through your phone. We genuinely want to share our special day with you in the moment as much as possible. If you do post photos, please remember to tag us in any photos you post and use the hashtag #RachelandMattrimony so we can find and save all of your lovely pics.
You bet you are! We want our family and friends to stick around and keep the party going, so we are hosting an onsite after-party immediately following the reception. It will be held in and around the living room of the John Roberts House at the Joseph Ambler Inn. Don't be square—just join us there!
Yes! We have a room block at the Joseph Ambler Inn (JAI). Our guests staying at JAI will receive a discounted rate of $159 + tax per night. This rate will be extended to those booking multiple nights and includes breakfast. To secure a room at this rate, GUESTS MUST CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY TO RESERVE. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE DISCOUNTED RATE IF YOU REGISTER ONLINE. You may call the hotel at (215) 362-7500 any time (24/7) to make your reservation. Please be sure to mention you're with the Crowl-McGrath wedding when making your reservation. PLEASE NOTE: There is no need to choose a specific room when making your reservation. We will work with the hotel to assign rooms to our guests. Because our wedding is happening on a holiday weekend, we encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, please review the other nearby hotel options on the Accommodations + Travel tab of our website.
Seriously, we don't want any of this to be difficult. If you have any questions or concerns about anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel (215) 514-8584 or Matt (215) 908-4982, and we will answer your question(s) or handle the concern ourselves.
