Amber & Pat

Amber and Pat are frequent visitors of the Roger Williams Zoo. Every year in “their” spot they take an annual photo together since their first visit. Throughout their visit Amber noticed Pat was acting off. She asked him several times “are you okay?” He would reply “I’m just hungry” They walked through the entire zoo, all the while Pat being a nervous wreck. As they approached their spot they got in place and smiled as they had done for every picture previously, but this time, Pat dropped down to his knee. As the realization hit her, she was in such shock she couldn’t speak for a whole 30 seconds, which felt like an eternity to Pat. She looked at her siblings for verification that this was not a prank. She muttered “yes, oh my god, yes!” “Oh my god, I can’t believe this. Are you serious! Can you believe this? We are engaged!” Amber repeated the entire walk through the zoo. Fittingly, their engagement pictures were done at Roger Williams.
