Wallowa Lake State Park
A beautiful Eastern Oregon must see in the summertime - if you are coming for a few days and need to get out of La Grande for a bit we highly recommend going to see Wallowa Lake. Kid friendly!

Looking to relax a bit? Check out the Historic Hot Lake Springs, one of the largest and hottest springs in the Northwest. Day Use Soaking is available by appointment.
Brickyard Lanes
For a fun and easy night out, check out the bowling alley nearby. It’s a local favorite with food, drinks, and plenty of lanes for all skill levels.
Buffalo Peak Golf Course
Buffalo Peak is located on the edge of the small Eastern Oregon community of Union, just sixteen miles southeast of La Grande.
Union County Fair (7/30 - 8/2)
An annual highlight held at the Union County Fairgrounds in La Grande. You'll see events like livestock awards, live music from regional bands, go-kart and lawnmower races, and the Junior Market Auction.
La Grande Farmers' Market
Serving Union County and Eastern Oregon with local produce, crafts, music and more - every Saturday from 9am to noon & Tuesday 3 to 6pm.
La Grande Drive-In
The La Grande Drive-in is a single screen drive-in open seasonally and provides audio for the movies with FM radio. Check out the link to their Facebook page to see what movies are playing while you're in town!
Morgan Lake
Morgan Lake is located just a few miles outside of La Grande and provides an inexpensive, easily accessible area for a broad range of outdoor recreational activities, including fishing, camping, and nature hikes.
