Reno-Tahoe Intl Airport (RNO)

If you're planning on coming straight to Tahoe, we recommend flying into Reno (RNO) which is just ~45 minutes from Northstar, or Sacramento (SMF) which is about halfway between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe and ~1.5 hours from Northstar. If you are looking to extend your trip - flying into any of San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), or San Jose (SJC) is a great option to explore all that the Bay Area has to offer - from visiting Big Sur and the Monterrey Peninsula to wine tasting in Napa/Sonoma before or after driving up to the mountains. NOTE: while there is a free shuttle service within the Northstar property (including to/from the village for our wedding) other rideshares are VERY limited in Truckee, so we do recommend renting a car if you're looking to explore all Tahoe has to offer.
