FAQs

Question

When is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be starting at 3:30pm sharp, so please arrive early. The church is very small, so late arrivals will be disruptive. We ask all guests to reserve the rear pews for any potential late arrivals to attempt to minimize any disruptions.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The invitations will list January 31st as the official last day to RSVP, but we are extending this deadline because there were significant delays in mail delivery. The new deadline will be Feb 8th. Please have your decision submitted before this date or contact the couple with questions!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Officially the dress code for the wedding and reception will be “Semi-formal.” The bride and bridesmaids will be in full length gowns, and the groom and groomsmen will be in suit and tie. NEW GUIDANCE: Please do not wear clothing or accessories that will shed excessive glitter as we may be liable for a cleaning fee.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Instead of a rehearsal dinner, we will be hosting a Welcome Party for all invited guests on Friday evening, March 21, 2025.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is closed. We ask guest to please not bring anyone day-of to the wedding that you haven’t previously RSVP’ed for; there will not be a place for them to sit.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is closed. Please do not bring children day-of that you haven’t previously RSVP’ed for; there will not be a place for them to sit.

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception are at the same location, and there is a large parking lot onsite.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to and from hotels. We encourage guests that want to drink to carpool or use ride-share services. Lyft is usually more prevalent in Charlotte than other apps, and costs ~$30 each way.
