It took me all this time to find my Mr. Right in all the ways: My ride-or-die, my one-and-only, my protector, co-conspirator, and true life partner. Wheee! Now the partnered adventure begins! Many of you embraced this chapter years ago, and I am so very happy you will be celebrating with us as we enter our lives into marriage.

Kim and Ann, the friends the universe insisted on! Ann and I have been crossing paths since we were young. As young teenagers we hung out in the same areas and even just missed each other at high school!. We ran into each other at Junior College and survived some horrific math classes together. Then we met again at UC Davis in an Enrichment Internship! What are the odds? What finally sealed the deal is when we were introduced to each other at UCSF, where we both were working after college! Those years where we worked and lived so close together are some of the most memorable for me. We went on spur of the moment outings, explored camping spots, and had dinner parties. Eventually Ann moved to Oregon, and after a few years, so did I! Now it has been 20 years since our San Francisco days, and we are back to living only 45 minutes apart. Just close enough for Ann to give me a call and see if I'm free for spur of the moment outings, to explore camping spots, and have dinner parties again.

Kind souls see other kind souls: Not long after Anne (Anne with an E) moved to Oregon for a position at OSU, she was connected to Ann through a mutual friend who shared a love of motorcycles and Pomeranians with our Bride, and childhood memories with our bridesmaid. When not working as an Instructor and Academic Advisor in Horticulture, Anne loves to tend her garden, enjoy the out of doors and create art. She has just returned from leading a Study Abroad in Bhutan. Anne lives with her sassy, noisy cat Mali.
