Our venue is about 2 hours south of SeaTac.
Please visit our "Travel" page. We have a link that will send you to Visit Rainier, where you can find lodging to fit your budget.
Since our wedding is completely outdoors and in a very forested area, we ask that you only bring kids OVER THE AGE OF 5, whom you know will not run off and get lost.
We recommend arriving about an hour before the ceremony. There will be a nice easy hike up to the ceremony location, but we encourage our guests to take their time and enjoy the beauty! If you have difficulty hiking to the ceremony area, there will be an accessible pathway for you. Please let us know beforehand if you will require additional help.
Our ceremony and reception will be completely outdoors. They are both located at the same venue so need to worry about driving from one place to another!
We would love to have that in our budget, but we will not provide such a service. Please note that you will most likely have to drive back to wherever you stay that night.
There is limited parking, so carpool if possible! While the parking lot is a first come, first serve, there is some street parking available.
Our dress code is "semi-formal".
For our boss babes: You can wear a cocktail dress or a polished set. Semi-formal also translates to shorter hemlines, bold prints, or elevated separates like a festive top paired with tailored dress pants. A jumpsuit or tailored pantsuit also falls into the semi-formal dress category. Fun details like ruffles, sleeves, slits, or high-low hemlines also work. Keep in mind it is an outdoor event, so we recommend forgoing the heels. For our esteemed gentlemen: This is not the time for tuxedos. Instead, focus on matching a suit jacket or a blazer to dress pants. As for shoes and accessories, feel free to wear a tie or a bowtie (bowties are cool )—there's always the option to take it off later.
It should be pleasantly warm around this time of the year, with highs of 66 and lows of 42. Of course, it will be in the PNW so do plan for rain just in case.
We will be serving light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet with a selection of meat, fish, salads, and sides will be served, along with dessert.
Yes! Our open bar will include a small variety of local beer, wine, and cider.
We have hired some amazing photographers who will be taking plenty of pictures during the ceremony and the reception. In an attempt to make sure that our photographers can get the best pictures, we ask that you wait until after the ceremony to take pictures of your own.
The best way is on our website under the "RSVP" tab. However, if you are having technical difficulties, you can also RSVP via email or post.
Please let us know if you will be attending no later than August 1st.
On your RSVP insert in your invitation, we have already provided you with the maximum number of people that we have reserved in your name. We ask that you do not bring more people with you.
Yes! You can find our registry under the "Registry" tab on our website. We have both a cash fund and some traditional gifts listed. We thank you in advance for your contribution to our newlywed life!
Yes! We will have a gift table set up for your convenience.
Yes! PLEASE! We will have vases with flowers on each table that guests are welcome to take back home with them! One per party, though, please!
You will likely be out of touch with the rest of the world at the venue. That is a good thing! Cell signal has been non-existent until a recent Verizon tower popped up nearby, but coverage is spotty. There are payphones 2.5 miles away in the town of Ashford.
No. Smoking of any kind is not allowed on Wellspring Property. We really don't want to burn down a forest accidentally.
Please send us an email at croneykanniainenrsvp@gmail.com if you have any additional questions or require certain accommodations. We will do the best we can to make sure you have a wonderful time with us!
