Barbara & Jason met at Florida Atlantic University during the fall semester of 2013. Jason sat directly behind Barbara in an accounting class where they never really spoke to each other. The following semester, Barbara was handing out flyers and recruiting for a business fraternity where she recruited Jason. Barbara never thought Jason would pledge the fraternity and during their first chapter meeting together, Barbara looked at Jason and they both smiled. Over the next few months, they started going on coffee dates and by the end of the semester it was official. When Jason asked Barbara to be his girlfriend he handed her the same flyer she gave him at the beginning of the year and they haven't looked back since. That's when the adventure began!

During the annual Bahamas trip over to Grand Cay, Jason was planning on asking Barbara for her hand on Double Breasted Cay, but category 5 hurricane Dorian had other plans. The trip was cancelled and Jason had to come up with plan B. Jason took Barbara up to Highlands, NC for a long weekend, had a photographer lined up, and took her on a hike to Glenn Falls. Barbara had no idea what was about to happen at the top of the waterfall, and the rest is history!
