The dress code is cocktail attire, which includes: •Knee-length, midi, or tea-length dresses in refined fabrics. •Stylish jumpsuits, tailored pantsuits, or a chic skirt-and-blouse combo. •A suit (navy, charcoal, or dark gray) •A dress shirt with a tie. •Vintage clothing always welcome :)
The theme is “wildflower” to go along with the venue, so it is pretty expansive. There is a photo in the gallery section of this site with the “inspo” pics! (Think light and colorful, for spring!)
•Guests will enter the McNeely Conservatory through the Historic Entrance. •Coat racks will be located in the foyer. •Restrooms are located just outside the Palm Dome.
•The flowers and plants in the garden cannot be touched or altered in any way. •Walking must be limited to the established paths only. •Food and drinks cannot be brought into the gardens. •The restrooms cannot be used as dressing rooms.
The ceremony will take place in an indoor flower garden, so seating will be limited to those for whom it is absolutely necessary. Please let us know if you will require a seat beforehand so that we can share that information with the venue. (For context, the typical wedding ceremony is 20-30 minutes)
To ensure we can accommodate all our guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
Dinner will be buffet style and there will be a vegetarian option and vegetarian sides as well as certain options and sides that are gluten free.
Absolutely.
There will be a professional photographer at the ceremony and part of the reception. You can take photos, but may find it more enjoyable to leave it to Becca!
Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations.
The ceremony venue is enclosed, so rain will not be an issue!
We will be arranging for transportation between downtown Minneapolis and the Conservatory. There will also be parking at both venues if you would like to drive separately. •Pick up will be in downtown Minneapolis, exact location TBD. •Drop off will be at the Itasca building in North Loop (Downtown Minneapolis).
