We're getting married!!

When Neil first met Cristy, it was at TCS. Cristy walked in for her interview wearing her crazy, colorful leggings while Neil stood nearby testing a game system. Cristy got the job, and the two began working together. On Cristy’s first day, everyone introduced themselves throughout the day—everyone except Neil. Finally, at closing time, as everyone stood around waiting to go home, Neil worked up the courage to introduce himself. He casually said, “Oh, and by the way, I’m Neil.” From that moment on, they became friends. Over time, Neil started to develop a small crush on Cristy, but she wasn’t available then. They worked together for about a year before Neil left to work with his dad. Four years passed, they lost contact, and Cristy was still at TCS—this time single and ready to mingle. In April of 2017, Neil stopped by TCS while getting tires for his grandma’s car next door at Town Fair Tire. As he looked around, he noticed Cristy was still there. He walked up to her and said, “Hey, how you been?” They caught up, started flirting, and jokingly, Neil asked if she wanted to come over to make tacos—Cristy’s favorite food. She immediately said yes. Surprised, Neil asked if she was serious, and she replied, “Yes, I’m single, so sure.” For their first date, Neil brought her home to make tacos, introduced her to his mom, and then took her to the falls. A month later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Six years later, he finally proposed. And now, eight years later, here we are—getting married in a place neither of us ever thought we’d be.
