We have reserved "La Gandulera" which is a school bus with no windows that allow passengers to enjoy the view while we drive around hopping between multiple chinchorros or bars/small restaurants to eat, drink and dance. It is reserved for 30 November 2023 and the cost is $15 per person. If you are interested please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

The Luquillo Kiosks are comprised of a row of around 60 family-owned kiosks selling food, drinks, and souvenirs. Visitors to the kiosks will find that they vary in style, taste, and price. They're all open air, and while some face the street, others have beautiful views of the beach. This is a perfect pitstop after enjoying a beach day on the east coast or a hiking day at El Yunque. La Guancha is a family-friendly place where people of all ages come to play, eat, enjoy the day, and the meet their friends. The biggest draw is probably the food kiosks, serving local fare and drinks (alcoholic and otherwise). You can enjoy your food at a bar, on a bench outside, as you walk along, or while standing near the water. There is also a place or two with seating. Many of the kiosks will have music, but sometimes there is live music. ( 5 mins from wedding venue)

Isla de Caja de Muertos is an uninhabited island 8 miles off the coast of Puerto Rico, perfect for a day trip of swimming, relaxing and exploring the Caribbean setting. As part of the Caja de Muertos Nature Reserve, it's home to beautiful reefs, marine life and greenery. Here, you can set off on one of the impressive hiking trails through the undisturbed forest, which leads to an interesting old lighthouse and even a pirates’ cave. You can also book a local boat tour to go snorkeling. This island is a ferry ride away from La Guancha in Ponce. (6 mins away from wedding venue)

The El Yunque National Park is the only tropical rain forest under the protection of the US Forest Service, as well as the largest nature reserve in densely populated Puerto Rico. Situated in the mist-wreathed Luquillo Mountains—where year-round precipitation ensures lush, green landscapes and a healthy diversity of animal life—El Yunque is home to the rare Puerto Rican parrot and the Coqui frog, whose distinctive croak provides El Yunque's soundtrack. The forts and city walls are fine examples of historic military architecture that reflect the power of the early Spanish Empire and the spread of European culture. Walking the streets was one of the most enjoyable things to do there so set to enjoy amazing architecture, splendid sculptures, lively squares, and delicious food and drink during your time in the old city.
