The lighthouse of Formentor is located at the northern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. The road leading to the lighthouse runs through a mountainous area and allows you to contemplate the spectacular panoramic views with the Mediterranean sea in the background (forests, cliffs, beaches with crystal clear waters, a unique and wonderful landscape). When to go or what to do? Try to make it to enjoy the sunset there (and buy a few beers to enjoy it better, there is no bar there!). Stop at Mirador d’es colomer which will allow you to also enjoy the views without getting to the lighthouse if you don't have a lot of time. Near that area you can see: Faro Formentor, Cala Figuera (Pollença), Playa de Formentor, Es Coll Baix, and Playa de Sant Pere.
