Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Laura Cristobal and Andrew Cunningham
Although Mallorca is an island, it's versatility is one of it's best attributes. Beautiful beaches, coastal towns, and a diverse collection of wildlife all call Mallorca home. Restaurants in the region pride themselves on their Mediterranean cuisine, with fresh-caught seafood, family-recipe Sangria and entirely too much garlic. Experiences range from the boujee to the 'hole in the wall', and we encourage all of you to try everything in between! We have highlighted a selection of fan favorites below, but all that is really needed to explore the island is a good attitude (and a credit card). Follow "palmademallorcaguide" on instagram for more great local recommendations!
Lighthouse of Cap de Formentor

Lighthouse of Cap de Formentor

Pollença, Mallorca 07460, Spain

The lighthouse of Formentor is located at the northern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. The road leading to the lighthouse runs through a mountainous area and allows you to contemplate the spectacular panoramic views with the Mediterranean sea in the background (forests, cliffs, beaches with crystal clear waters, a unique and wonderful landscape). When to go or what to do? Try to make it to enjoy the sunset there (and buy a few beers to enjoy it better, there is no bar there!). Stop at Mirador d’es colomer which will allow you to also enjoy the views without getting to the lighthouse if you don't have a lot of time. Near that area you can see: Faro Formentor, Cala Figuera (Pollença), Playa de Formentor, Es Coll Baix, and Playa de Sant Pere.

Calas in the South of Mallorca

Calas in the South of Mallorca

Sant Antoni de Portmany, Mallorca 07650, Spain

What would Mallorca be without its incredible calas and crystalline waters. The calas (small beaches usually with rocks and no sand) are one of the places that MUST be visited! Some of them are: Cala Santanyí. Cala Llombards, Caló des Moro and Cala S'Almunia, Cala Mondragó. Apart from the Calas, there are also a whole series of beaches with crystal clear waters and white sand, such as: Es Trenc, Es Caragol, Ses Covetes.
