Cristina and John call their love story “The Long Game”. They first met more than twenty years ago in third grade and were good friends throughout childhood, high school, and college. They both were offered internships in NYC as they started their senior year of college, so they decided to be platonic roommates and move in together as friends. Meanwhile, Cristina had no idea John was telling his friends his plan to play “the long game”, and would make Cristina fall in love with him in the end. Fast forward two years and they realized they were absolutely smitten with each other and decided to give it a try.

Cristina was in the final stretch of her Masters program and on her final day was presenting her Capstone presentation to 700 people in the beauty industry. Safe to say, her mind was preoccupied while John was planning what would be the most memorable night. He invited both of their families and close friends to the presentation, and organized an intimate dinner at one of their favorite cocktail bars in Chelsea. Cristina thought the pre-set champagne flutes and toast were only to congratulate her for finishing grad school, until he bent one knee and popped the question! They are so excited to celebrate with you at their wedding weekend this September in the Catskills!
