Rj and Cristina met back in the fall of 2013 at the famous DuFour Center at Catholic University through a mutual friend, Billy McClatchy. It wasn't until the following pre-season that Rj and Cristina re-connected and went for a romantic lunch at Panera Bread in Columbia Heights. They made it official by the start of football season and enjoyed their last year at CUA together. After graduation Rj and Cristina decided they wanted to try living in almost all of the major cities on the east cost. They moved to NYC for 4 years and now live in the North End in Boston with their yellow lab, Murphy.

Rj popped the question on 4/2/2021 on a walk through a park near where Cristina grew up in the suburbs of Boston. Cristina had just gotten off night shift so when Rj got down on one knee she was quite surprised! Of course the answer was yes and of course Murphy was there to supervise the event. They spent the weekend eating Italian food in the north end and celebrating with family and friends!
