Their story began in the spring of ‘22–two lucky souls that would meet at the wedding of longtime mutual friends. What began as a carefully planned bridesmaid and groomsman arrangement had quickly turned into something more. Things got even more interesting when Manuel sang a song to her with a guitar and planted a kiss on her in front of their friends. And although she had to fly back home a couple thousand miles away, they continued in a pursuit of what could be. And so, Cristina and Manuel set out to bring sunlight to this blooming love. She liked the way he brought peace to her life, and he liked the way she brought purpose to his. The next few years had been full of surprises for them both, as they found in each other someone, they could share a dream with and build a future with. Distance had been only small obstacle for this fiery love they had for one another. When she finally moved back home to California, he knew he had to act fast on this dream. And in April of 2025, for their 3-year anniversary, he asked her for her hand in marriage as they overlooked the sea in Carmel at sunset. They were ready to embark on this lifelong journey as husband and wife, in front of God, with all the challenges and blessings that came with it. Together, they look forward to a lifetime as husband and wife, grounded in faith and ready to embrace both the blessings and challenges ahead, and they look forward to sharing this special moment with all of you!
