Yes, just let us know so we can account for them.

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

Let me tell you, while we are both great gift-givers, we have a terrible track record of wedding gift giving. If we went to your wedding and didn't give you a gift, we're so sorry. Please don't feel like you need to get us anything at all. But if you feel moved to you can donate to Cristina and Janos's Great American Honeymoon roadtrip.

Do I need to be there on Friday, May 1?

Answer

Not unless you're one of our family members or their respective partners, but it's NYC so it wouldn't be a waste of time if you were here on Friday.

Question

I don't have anything that I'd describe as "funky cocktail" in my closet. Where do you suggest I shop?

Answer

Ok so for women, I'd suggest checking out Simon Miller, Farm Rio, Wolf and Badger, ASOS, and Rent the Runway. I'd also check sites like Poshmark and The Real Real to get discounted secondhand items. For men Dries Van Noten does gorgeous patterns, Phix came up in my searches, Pernia's Pop Up has bejeweled menswear, and Twisted Tailor.

What is this scavenger hunt? Is it mandatory?

Answer

Part of this wedding's theme is us sharing our love of NYC, the place that brought us together. The scavenger hunt will take you and your team to some of our favorite places, and give you a chance to meet other awesome people who have been invited to the wedding. You don't HAVE to participate, and if it's really difficult for you to get into town in time we understand, but it would be meaningful for us to see you there.

What's the best part of town to stay in?

Answer

Our reception is going to be in the Union Sq area, so probably anything along the 4 5 6 or the R N W would be easiest for folks.
