(EN) We met at Congress Hall Hotel. James was working there and I went to work as well on a student summer program. We were seeing each other around until one rainy day James asked Cristina on a date. We went on a nice walk under the moon at the Beach Plum Farm and immediately had a great connexion. The next day we had our second date and we tried to spend as much time as possible until I had to go back home. (ES) Nos conocimos en el hotel Congress Hall, Cape May. James estaba trabajando allí y yo fui también a trabajar en un programa de intercambio de verano. Los dos nos veíamos por el hotel hasta que un día James me dijo de tener una cita. Fuimos a dar un paseo en <<Beach Plum Farm>> y enseguida tuvimos una gran conexión. Al día siguiente tuvimos nuestra segunda cita tras la cual intentamos pasar juntos el máximo tiempo posible hasta que tuve que volver a España.

(EN) We went on a visit to Spain, James' second time there and this time to my home town. James thought that it would be really nice to propose there so we could celebrate with my friends and family. So that Tuesday of January, after lunch with my dad (and secretly ask him for my hand), and before dinner with my friends, we went on a walk to the port when James suddenly went down on one knee and popped the question. I immediately said yes! We were so happy and excited. It was very romantic and unexpected. (ES) Fuimos de viaje a España, era la segunda visita de James y esta vez hacíamos parada en casa. James pensó que sería buena idea proponerme en el viaje para poder celebrarlo con mi familia y amigos. Aquel martes de enero después de comer con mi padre (y secretamente pedirle mi mano) y antes de la cena con mis amigos, fuimos a dar un paseo por el puerto cuando de repente James se arrodilló y me hizo la gran pregunta. Inmediatamente dije que sí! Estábamos muy felices y emocionados. Fue muy romántico e inesperado.
