Our Charleston Engagement
What I thought was a family photo shoot booked by my sister, who loves family pictures just as much as I do. Turned out to actually be an engagement shoot booked by Frank earlier in the week and Caro and my parents were in on the whole plan. Those of you who know me, know I am very hard to surprise — but he got me soo good! Before the photo shoot I told Frank I was leaving my purse and phone in the car so that I wouldn’t have bulky pockets for the pictures and even suggested he do the same but he assured me it wouldn’t show. (Ha! Good thing I didn’t ask what was in his pockets!) We got a few family shots in and then it was time for couples. We get a smiling picture, a kiss, and then I feel him reach for his pocket. My thoughts were, “Wow he sure does listen. He’s making sure his pockets don’t look bulky!” HA! I got the biggest surprise of my life! Frank got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with the most beautiful ring and my response was “OF COURSE!” 💕
